Bio
Sina Nazarian is a director, producer and multidisciplinary artist with strong passion for storytelling through stylized imagery and atmospheric soundscapes.
He’s a member of the Director’s Guild of Canada with over 6 years of experience as an assistant director with credits including UPLOAD (amazon), GRENDEL (Netflix), and GOOSEBUMPS (Sony/Disney).
Sina’s academic background in Marketing Communications paired with his production experience as an assistant director has given him a unique advantage when it comes to producing films.
His most recent project is THE GOLD TEETH (2022), a short film written and directed by Alireza Kazemipour, which premiered at the Oscar Qualifying Tirana Film Festival, followed by a selection at Silver Wave Film Festival qualified for a Canadian Screen Award.
Currently, Sina is producing Kazemipour's latest short film funded by BC Arts Council.

Where I'm From
Log Line
As a 30 minute experimental and musical art piece, Where I’m From depicts a fictional world in which two souls become intertwined with one another as they face their inner shadows.
Synopsis
The lives of two strangers become synchronized on a level that neither of them can comprehend. Will is a talented musician who suffers internally behind closed doors, leading him to substance abuse in the face of his success.
Tania is a struggling artist who longs for the aspiration and confidence needed to obtain her first art exhibition, but she is held down by her own conscience and abandons her work in despair.
Will faces a battle when his dark side threatens to overtake him entirely. He must face down his own shadow to regain possession of his life and become the man he truly wants to be. If he fails, he submits to self-destruction by becoming totally possessed.
Their paths collide in both their waking lives and dream worlds, as they begin to unmask themselves in an effort to discover their true selves.
